I wish I didn’t have to use an inhaler. Unfortunately my lungs feel otherwise. I’ve suffered from asthma pretty much my entire life. I’ve had to use an inhaler since I was a young teenager, so it’s just a way of life now.
I’m lucky enough that I don’t require these inhalers regularly. Usually it’s just for “recovery” when I’m struggling to breathe. Oftentimes it’s seasonal asthma. Change of pollen counts or shifts in temperatures. I avoid perfumes and colognes as well in order to keep my attacks at bay.
I’m not sure how I got to be so lucky to have to suffer but here I am. A collection of old and new inhalers stashed in my home and cars. I don’t want to be without one just in case. Have you ever tried to breathe through a straw for hours on end? Not a pleasant experience that’s for sure.
For those out there that suffer from asthma- besides using inhalers, what else do you do to keep breathing? Let me know in the comments.
