Talking Helps

Today I called a friend. I just had to talk. Nothing super important, but it was nice to share some thoughts and feelings.

Usually I text people or share memes. It’s not very often I make a phone call to talk feelings. But my friend really helped by listening. Unbeknownst to me, it seemed like he needed to talk as well.

Being a grown-ass man makes it hard to want to share emotions. Usually I bottle up my frustration or anger. Recently I kind of blew up and felt terrible after. I should have reached out to a friend to talk prior to my explosion. I know better for next time.

A big thanks to my close friend for answering his phone today. I needed the mental break. I hope I helped you as well.
